I've already purchased my charger, can you install it?

Yes. We can install customer-supplied EV chargers, provided the unit is suitable for your vehicle and electrical setup. Our quote process allows you to advise which charger you already have.

What is 3 phase power and do I need it?

Most homes have single-phase power, which can provide EV charging up to around 7kW. Three-phase power can support AC charging up to around 22kW, allowing compatible vehicles to charge significantly faster. You don’t necessarily need three-phase power for home charging — RegenEV can recommend the best option based on your existing supply and vehicle.

Can my charger work with solar?

Yes. Many smart EV chargers can use surplus solar from your home to charge your car, helping you make better use of your own generated electricity. RegenEV offers solar-aware chargers that can prioritise excess solar and, depending on the model, also optimise charging around off-peak electricity rates.
